Uh Oh,

So just a quick little funny story before I go off to be for the night. I was visiting my friend Tiff with my son on Saturday, and well, Gavin was being a 2 year old. He decided to climb on her rolling desk chair, and face planted to the hardwood floor of her kitchen. A few minutes later, he's got a big ole knot on his head, and we could see the bruise forming already. Poor kid. Well, he went to his grandma's for a couple of hours on Sunday night, and she asked him what happened to his head. He pointed at his head, and told her... "Maw Maw, head broke." I couldn't help it, I cracked up laughing just because he's telling her that he broke his head! So for the last few days, everytime someone asks him what happened to his head, he tells them that his head is broke. Silly boy, the things you hear out of 2 year olds with limited vocabulary. Good night all! Happy Scrappin' Brit

Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired Challenge #33

So the challenge was to use a monogram. I did this cute little note card for my godmother, Lou. I used cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook for the circle & the letter "L", and used my Cuttlebug, w/ the folder "Blooms & Dots" on the circle, and folder "Swiss Dots" on the L. Base cardstock & the circle is Wassau Paper, and the stripes are from the DCWV Glitter Pattern Stack, and the green is also DCWV from their "Brights" Cardstock Stack. I'll be back in a few days, probably with more projects since I'm in a crafty mood lately. Yay! Happy Scrappin' all!

Decide maybe I should show these off a little...

These are some LO's that I've done. The Halloween one is a traditonal paper scrapbooking layout, the other two are both digital. I did this one for a Halloween Challenge. The cute little kid is my son Gavin. He was 11 months old, it was his first Halloween, and boy did he like those mini tootsie pops! This is my son Gavin again and my niece Madelyn, I'm making a scrapbook for her. This was also used in the PageMaps.com sweet challenge. This is a page for Madelyn again. This is one of the digi layouts with the Swanky kit from Shel Belle Scraps. This was for a song title LO challenge.

NSD Weekend, wow!

So last Saturday was National Scrapbooking Day, and boy, while I didn't do ANY scrapping, I sure did do a lot of blog hopping! I think I hopped around 45 different blogs, checking out challenges/give aways. Thou, I was on Robyn's blog all weekend, it was just up in it's own window all weekend, lol. If you don't know who Robyn is, she's "The Pink Stamper", I love her blog and there was so much going on! Thou I think she "enabled" me to buy a bind it all. I want to make cute notebooks like she did over the weekend! That's all for now, gotta go fight my munchkin into bed now!
